MEET KEZIAH

Growing up in Mansfield, I was fortunate to receive an exceptional education from Mansfield ISD, an experience that shaped who I am today. Now, as a parent, I am incredibly proud to have raised my own children in this same community, so they too could experience the wonderful education and support that I received.

My husband Shane and I have been married for 24 years, and in that time, we've witnessed firsthand the growth and transformation of our school system— We’ve seen it from both sides—first as students, and now as parents. The pride we feel in seeing our children walk the same halls we did is immeasurable. But even more than pride, it’s a responsibility. A responsibility to ensure this district doesn’t just stand still. A responsibility to make sure it continues to grow, to rise, and to fight for every student, every teacher, and every family who calls this district home.

I’ve seen where we’ve been, and I am so excited about where we’re headed—but I know we can’t do it alone. Together, we must continue to ensure that every student, every educator, and every family in our community has the resources, the support, and the opportunities they deserve. I will continue to fight for the future of Mansfield ISD, and I hope to do it with you by my side. This is my promise to you—to fight, to lead, and to ensure that the legacy we leave is one of excellence, opportunity, and hope for every child who walks through these doors.

My passion for children has guided me throughout my life, from my early involvement in our schools to my work as a foster parent and child advocate. I’ve served on PTA boards, community advisory committees, and even spent a year as a crossing guard—literally stepping out on faith to protect our students.

In 2013, my husband and I answered the call to become foster parents, and a year later, we welcomed our beautiful daughter into our family. That experience deepened my commitment to the thousands of children still navigating the foster care system. From 2015 until I was elected to the MISD Board of Trustees in 2021, I had the honor of serving as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for foster children in Tarrant County, working alongside caseworkers, attorneys, judges, and educators to ensure vulnerable children received the care and support they needed. Advocacy has long been my passion, and I’ve never been afraid to speak up for those who need a voice—especially our students. Serving on the school board has been an extension of that mission, and I remain committed to fighting for all children and ensuring our schools provide the best opportunities for every student.

I am also an active member of Mansfield Womens Club, Mansfield Sunrise Rotary, Creekwood Church, and Reagan Legacy Republican Women, and my dedication to this community and its future is unwavering.

I hope by now, you recognize the heart, diligence, and tenacity I bring to the Mansfield ISD school board. My platform reflects my deep commitment to serving our students, teachers, and community.

But to truly be your voice, I need to hear from you. I want to know what brings you joy about our schools and what concerns you have for our district’s future.

I invite you to follow my social media accounts and join me at one of my upcoming events. Let’s connect, discuss, and work together to ensure Mansfield ISD remains strong.

I look forward to meeting you!
